NEMA Publishes NEMA KS 2 for Distribution Equipment Switch Application Guide, a User's Reference



ROSSLYN, VA, -The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has published NEMA KS 2-2011 Distribution Equipment Switch Application Guide, A User's Reference. KS 2 provides application information for the proper selection, installation, and operation of distribution equipment switches up to 600 volts. Switch selection and application for UL 98, UL 977, and UL 1429 have been updated in this edition.

The KS series currently under revision includes KS 1. A new standard to the series, KS 3, will contain the maintenance requirements previously included in KS 2.
