NEMA Congratulates Members Included Among 2014 ENERGY STAR Award Winners
ROSSLYN, Va.—The Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy honored seven National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) member companies with the 2014 ENERGY STAR® Award. Businesses and organizations were honored for their outstanding contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency at the awards ceremony.
According to NEMA President and CEO Evan R Gaddis, energy efficiency policies should be a central component to any national energy policy.
“Our members are in the energy efficiency business,” he said in congratulating the companies honored. “Electroindustry products are becoming more and more energy efficient and the systems that often manage their use add to energy and cost savings.”
