NEMA congratulated Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA) on receiving U.S. FDA's Leveraging/Collaboration Award for developing collaborative network aimed at reducing unnecessary radiation exposure from imaging exams to pediatric patients. After calling NEMA's medical imaging members "world-leading examples" of how industry can improve lives, NEMA President and CEO Evan Gaddis noted and commended MITA's long collaborative partnership and work with FDA.

ROSSLYN, Va.-The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) congratulates its Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) on receiving the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Leveraging/Collaboration Award for developing a collaborative network aimed at reducing unnecessary radiation exposure from imaging exams to pediatric patients.
According to NEMA President and CEO Evan Gaddis, MITA is a long-time collaborative partner with the FDA on initiatives to promote the safe and effective use of medical imaging equipment.
