NEMA Communications Department Wins Six Hermes Creative Awards
ROSSLYN, Va., —The National Association of Electrical Manufacturers (NEMA) won platinum and gold awards for ei, the magazine of the electroindustry, in the 2014 Hermes Creative Awards competition.
According to Pat Walsh, editor in chief of ei, the magazine is NEMA’s signature publication.
“We always thought we had a good product, this confirms it,” Walsh said.
Originally published in 1995 as Electroindustry with a distribution of 5,300, ei was redesigned earlier this year and now has more than 50,000 subscribers.
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. Winners range from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
