NEMA Attends 2014 International Building Show, Showcases Several Member Products

ROSSLYN, Va. —The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is attending the National Association of Home Builders’ International Building Show to encourage builders and designers to incorporate advanced heating solutions, electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), and surge protective devices into their design plans for new homes and businesses. The event will be held February 4-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Attending this event puts NEMA member products in the spotlight for more than 70,000 attendees, most of whom are residential construction and design professionals. According to NEMA President and CEO Evan R. Gaddis, this is an audience NEMA has been interested in reaching, educating, and working with to ensure consideration of energy-efficient, safe, and affordable products into design plans for new construction of single- and multi-family homes, businesses, and public parking locations.

“Advanced heating solutions, EVSE, and surge protective devices are all products that increase the value of new homes by offering comfort, advanced technology, and protection that today’s home buyers are looking for,” Gaddis said.

“NEMA members attending this show will be able to show architects, developers, home builders, and designers the benefits of advanced heating solutions, EVSE, and surge protective devices, and how including these in new home construction will add value to their business,” he added.

Show attendees are encouraged to stop by Booth #S2556 to learn more about growing their business by using NEMA products. For daily updates during the show, follow NEMA on Twitter by searching @NEMAUpdates and #IBSVegas.
