NCL To Be Exhibited At Westec 2012

IRVINE, CA - NCCS, the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software, used extensively in the aerospace, automotive and turbo-machinery industries, will be participating in the Westec 2012 Exposition taking place March 27-29, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California. NCCS (booth #2059) will showcase the latest version of their flagship product NCL V9.9 as well as other state-of-the-art manufacturing solutions including PostWorks, an advanced multi-axis universal postprocessor and NCL/Machine Simulator which provides high performance, realistic, simultaneous material removal and CNC machine tool simulation. Among many others, NCL V9.9 includes the following enhancements that will reduce programming time and increase tool path efficiency:

o Live Mouse - The mouse is now 'alive' when you start NCL and load a model. The right button rotates, the scroll wheel zooms in and out, and the left button pans.
o Swap Visible/Invisible Items, File Open - Added the ability to swap views between visible and invisible entities. In addition, added the ability to open many different file types from a single File Open menu.
o Custom Colors - NCL now supports a total of 64 colors. The user can define and name their own custom colors utilizing the new Colors Menu form.
o FMILL Enhancements - FMILL will now generate 'racetrack' style (unidirectional) motion around a closed surface or set of surfaces (NET).
o SMILL Enhancements - The new SMILL command has been implemented to facilitate the machining of multiple surfaces including support for ball and bullnose end mills.
o Added new features and enhancements to NCL/IPV, verification software allowing the user more control of the simulated motion
o Added enhancements to PostWorks, a universal postprocessor including a Auto doc postprocessor for better creation of shop documentation.
