New applications improves programming
Irvine, California - September 1, 2009 - NCCS, the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software for the aerospace, automotive and turbo machinery industry, introduces new engraving tools for multi-axis machining within NCL increasing overall productivity.
Letter Engraving NCCS has enhanced its multi-axis machining software, NCL Version 9.7. Users now have the ability to define, manipulate and engrave annotations.
o Lettering can now be automatically machined onto the part using a simplified profile routine to follow the strokes of the defined font. o In addition, letters can be engraved onto planar and contoured surfaces using single or multiple depths. o With this application, users can change the settings for subsequently created annotations, create annotation entities, modify existing annotation entities, and engrave annotation entities.
According to David Schultz, NCCS' Manager of CAD/CAM Applications, "NCL multi-axis machining software enhances the user's programming experience while increasing productivity. The letter engraving feature gives users more flexibility and options with programming multiple part-programs".
