Company Recognized For Building Sales Momentum Within Distributor Network

Smyrna, GA, November 16, 2010 - Murata Electronics North America today announced that it has been named IP&E Manufacturer of the Year by the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA). Created two decades ago, the award recognizes suppliers that best exemplify the spirit of cooperation within the electronic distribution industry. Murata was selected for working with its strategic alliances to define and execute how to mutually increase sales throughout its distribution channel.

This distinction underscores the company's focus on coordinating resources to provide distribution partners the necessary tools needed to enhance the sales process and provide solutions to customers. More specifically, Murata continues to place an emphasis on service improvements, new technology introduction and supporting field initiatives within the distribution market. The end result is Murata and its authorized distribution partners ensured success in adding value and providing excellent service to their mutual customers.
