The new glossary, developed by Ryan Satrom, Multitest's Signal Integrity Engineer, explains the major terms and concepts related to power integrity.
Power integrity is the discipline of providing clean power to the device under test (DUT) by minimizing noise on the Power Delivery Network (PDN). It quickly is becoming one of the biggest challenges in test interface design.
The influence of power integrity is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. It is becoming increasingly important for the test community to understand the issues related to this and improve their ability to address the challenges of power integrity that are caused by the test interface.
