Multi-Contact has sold its 150 millionth photovoltaic connector worldwide. One of the pioneers in manufacturing connector systems for solar power applications, Multi-Contact has more than 10 years' experience in this sector.

Photovoltaic cables are designed to be rugged enough to withstand long term exposure to ultraviolet radiation and the extremes of temperature and weather frequently encountered in solar powered installations.

Multi-Contact's current range includes the MC4 snap-in connector with a rated current of 30A and an IP67 protection rating.
