(SDI), a leading supplier of design tools for digital signal processors and high-performance microcontrollers. SDI products include JTAG emulators, target boards for TI processors (DSPs, Davinci(TM) and OMAP(TM) platforms, and microcontrollers), debuggers, and complete development systems.

According to Mike Scott, Mouser Vice President of Active Products, the distribution agreement with Spectrum Digital, Inc. capitalizes on Mouser's core competencies of rapid product introduction, extensive stocking, and promotion of the newest products to the design engineering community.

The portability of these emulators allows engineers and programmers to take development to the application environment by using laptop or notebook computers, eliminating the need for an adapter card in a PC chassis.
The company also develops Evaluation Modules, DSP Starter Kits (DSKs), and eZdsp(TM)s for popular Texas Instruments' DSPs, DaVinci(TM), OMAP, and TMS470 ARM products.
