Motion Industries "HOW2" Video Demonstrates Setting a Pressure-Reducing Valve

Birmingham, Ala. – Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, has released a new hydraulic-focused video on their “MiHow2” series of product/application solutions.  The instructive video series’ goal is to share practical industrial applications that viewers can adapt in their own facilities.

Eaton, a leading manufacturer of energy-efficient electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power products and a Motion Industries key supplier, helped to create the video, “How to Set a Pressure-Reducing Valve in a Hydraulic System.”  The demonstration unit shown in the video, featuring Eaton’s Vickers® brand, is also regularly used in hands-on training classes conducted by the Motion Institute.  The video can be viewed online at www.mihow2.com.

“The video demonstrates proper installation and adjustment of the pressure reducing valve, which is needed to operate two pressures in the same system,” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ Senior VP of Marketing, Product Management, Strategic Planning.   “It’s important to accurately match the pressure requirements of the application.”

Each MiHow2 video was filmed in a workshop setting, and features the Motion Industries host with a guest from one of the market-leading industrial manufacturers demonstrating a product or application.  The series is also available for viewing via Facebook and YouTube.  Additional MiHow2 videos are scheduled to be posted in coming weeks.
