Mortenson, Hunt and Saunders Collaborate Using Textura on Denver International Airport's South Terminal Redevelopment Program

Three Industry Leading Contractors Form Tri-Venture and Rely on Textura Construction Payment Management to Increase Efficiency.

CHICAGO -- Textura Corporation, the leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced that a tri-venture formed by three leading General Contractors, Mortenson Construction, Hunt Construction Group and Saunders Construction, Inc., increased collaboration using Textura's solutions while working on Denver International Airport's South Terminal Redevelopment Program (STRP).

"The three contractors were awarded different parts of the contract but decided it would be more efficient to work together," said Stuart Williams, South Terminal Redevelopment Program Manager, Denver International Airport. "They needed a solution that would allow them to increase visibility, make the approval process more efficient and speed up the payment process. All the parties involved use a variety of different solutions for different purposes, and they selected Textura to allow them to collectively increase collaboration."

Textura-CPM connects all the project stakeholders online, reducing paperwork associated with a construction project and automating inefficient manual processes. By centralizing the information in a single database, project collaborators have access to more accurate information in real-time, an essential feature of success for a project as large and complex as the South Terminal Redevelopment Program.

The $544 million South Terminal Redevelopment Program is comprised of three independent, yet physically integrated, projects. The STRP includes the design and construction of a 519-room Westin hotel and conference center, a public transit center that includes a Regional Transportation District commuter rail station and a public plaza that will serve as a venue for entertainment, art, relaxation and restaurants.

"Textura is extremely proud to be a part of this monumental project," said Patrick Allin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Textura Corporation. "It's a testament to the power of our solutions that the Denver International Airport and three of the nation's top contractors selected Textura to help them increase efficiency and collaboration for this major undertaking."

About DIA South Terminal Redevelopment Program Denver International Airport's $544 million South Terminal Redevelopment Program marks the continuation of the original vision of the airport.
