Program designed to offer contractors specially priced Woodhead® bundled packages

LISLE, Ill. September 8, 2009 - Molex Incorporated (NASDAQ: MOLX and MOLXA) is launching its own efforts toward the goal of Rebuilding America with its 'Rebuilding America Together' program. Contractors and suppliers in the commercial construction and utilities industries will benefit from five select Woodhead® product packages designed for harsh environment applications such as the rebuilding of roads, bridges, and buildings.

"Woodhead lighting and electrical products from Molex are specifically designed for use in harsh environments and are 100 percent code compliant to provide the safest work environment for users," said John Newkirk, vice president and general manager, automation and electrical products, Molex Incorporated. "To support this important program, Molex is offering our customers Woodhead stimulus packages at 15 to 50 percent off the MSRP."

Molex created five program packages that contain a wide variety of its most popular products to support various applications. The packages are:
o Basic Universal - includes lighting, devices, GFCI, grips and solderless terminal products
o Commercial and Municipal Construction - includes lighting, devices, GFCI, grips and solderless terminal products
o Wet and Water - includes lighting, devices, GFCI, grips, and solderless terminal products
o Utility and Generation - includes wide area lighting, devices, GFCI, grips, and solderless terminal products
o Adapters - includes wiring devices

As part of the campaign, Molex launched a safety training series, "Working Together for a Safer Workplace," that educates end users on common electrical safety hazards and provides safety information from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the National Electric Code (NEC).

Newkirk continues, "Molex's Woodhead products offer the broadest range of safety and code compliant products for electrical and industrial applications. As part of our campaign, we would like to reach out to companies and their employees across the country to ensure a safer working environment."
