9 Crozerville Rd., P.O. Box 2425
Aston, PA, 19014
USA

Press release date: January 13, 2012

Aston, PA, - The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a mold protective coating to be used for molds in storage. McLube 1725L has proven to protect molds from rust and corrosion indefinitely. It can be simply applied by spraying or wiping a thin even film on to the mold surface. The applied coating is clear, dry and non-oily allowing for the mold to put into service without cleaning prior to the commencement of molding. Dirt, dust and other contaminants will not adhere to the applied coating. As well as protecting the mold surface the coating provides an excellent base release coating to aid in break in of molds put back in service. Samples are available for testing.
