A compact moisture analyzer that rapidly and uniformly dries a sample, performs automatic test measurements with high repeatability, and has an integral database is available from Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, MA.
The Alliance-Ohaus MB-Series Moisture Analyzer has a sample capacity of 45g, with 0.001g readability, a 0.01 to 100% moisture range, and repeatability to 0.015% using a 10g sample. Featuring an infrared halogen heating element and gold reflective housing that reaches 200°C in seconds to start uniformly drying the sample, it lets users program and store up to 50 drying procedures.
Equipped with a display that shows percent moisture, percent solids, weight, time, temperature, drying curve and more, the Alliance-Ohaus MB-Series Moisture Analyzer provides four selectable automatic drying programs that permit easy one-step drying by simply setting the temperature and time. It measures only 8.5"W x 14.5"D to save space and includes an RS232 port.
