Moeller has addressed the market for acquiring a ready-to-use enclosed motor starter within minutes of walking into a distributor showroom. Moeller's SYST-M line of ready-made motor starters is typically available from distributor stock and is suitable for a variety of industrial applications to 60HP (@575V). Their fully modular design includes only three parts which reduces assembly time to minutes. Plug-in connectors allow distributors to assemble various starter configurations while still maintaining SYST-M's UL/CSA approvals. This efficient design eliminates the traditional "order and wait" process, in which an individual enclosed motor starter can take weeks to be engineered and shipped.
SYST-M includes basic non-reversing and reversing starters, in both non-combination and fused combination configurations. All starters are housed in a NEMA 1, 12 or 3R heavy duty enclosure, with a manual RESET button pre-installed on the front cover. The RESET button and pilot device kits are selected from Moeller's exceptional RMQ-Titan line, known for its rugged performance and aesthetic appeal.
At the heart of every SYST-M starter is Moeller's DILM contactor series and ZB overload relay line - which are among the most modern industrial control components on the market today. Optional control power transformers (CPT) are available with both a fused primary and secondary. There are four incoming voltages to choose, including 208, 240, 480 and 600. Output voltage is 120V to match the contactor. A remote adaptor option is also available for use when the starter is being controlled from a remote location.
