Knoxville, TN - The 56SAM-800 module from Online Development lets users add a variety of Microsoft-based applications to their Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley controllers. As a single slot PC module for ControlLogix PACs, the 56SAM-800 reduces installation time, spare parts, and maintenance costs while providing optimum functionality and reliability.

The module is available with Microsoft WinXP and WinCE operating systems and features a high-speed ControlLogix backplane interface for optimum performance. It also includes two front panel 100 Mbps Ethernet ports, two 2.0/1.1 high-speed USB ports, and an isolated serial port for added communications flexibility.

The module includes a Type II 512MB compact flash drive and DataSafe battery-backed memory. An optional hard drive is available. The 56SAM-800 is industrially hardened for the ControlLogix PAC environment and features fan-less operation.
