(Aurora, IL) Mitutoyo America Corporation, developer of the MeasurLink® suite of manufacturing quality management software that integrates enterprise metrology functionalities with real time, on-line data collection, status indication, analysis and archiving, announced it has attained Gold status in the Microsoft Certified Partners Program with competencies in both ISV/Software Solutions and Mobility Solutions.
The Gold Certified Partners status signifies Mitutoyo America demonstrates a proven ability to meet customers' needs through robust, efficient and scalable implementations of Microsoft technologies in enterprise customer deployments.
To qualify for Gold Certified Partners certification, Mitutoyo submitted its MeasurLink application - including a pocket PC version running on Windows Mobility - for testing conducted by VeriTest, a respected independent Microsoft testing partner. VeriTest assessed MeasurLink for installability, stability, memory leaks and disaster soft landing to confirm high levels of compatibility with Microsoft operating systems. Additionally, Gold Certified Partners certification required that customer-users acknowledge that MeasurLink is robust and behaves as represented in their environments.
As a Gold Certified Partner, Mitutoyo receives a rich set of benefits including access to exclusive on-line content and tools, a higher level of Microsoft support, and access to the Microsoft Technology Roadmap which provides higher visualization of pre-release software, helping to keep Mitutoyo software development initiatives at the leading edge. Being a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner also means Mitutoyo America enjoys potential operational cost reductions through use of Microsoft training support resources, including access to the Microsoft on-line learning center, as well as of pre- and post-sales technical support.
