Mitsubishi Electric Power Products UPS Division is Solid Green Latest Product Maximizes Reliability and Efficiency
Warrendale, Penn. -- April 30, 2009 -- Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc., a leader in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) products and services, is helping to define the green data center. Its newest offering, the 9900A Series UPS System, delivers one of the industry's most efficient on-line UPS ever, with a 96.5 percent efficiency rating. Mitsubishi Electric UPS, a member of the Green Council, understands that the expectation for reduction of energy consumption in mission critical facilities, and lower cost of ownership are top priorities. Recognizing that growing levels of data center energy-use is a matter of corporate and public policy, the 9900A UPS was designed to help meet these challenges.
"Our 9900A UPS is perfectly suited for the 'green data center,' a trend that is prevalent among all industries," says Dean Richards, sales manager, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products UPS division. "Our customers are already noticing power savings due to the impressive operating efficiencies that the 9900A offers."
Mitsubishi Electric is aligning their current and future products with green data center initiatives, such as helping customers earn LEED points and meet energy-use goals.
