HOUSTON - Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks (http://www.mit-lift.com), manufacturer of reliable and affordable forklift trucks for hard-working applications, announced today the introduction of its new line of mid-size Internal Combustion (IC) pneumatic tire forklift trucks. Offered in five capacities, ranging from 8,000-12,000 lbs., the trucks are designed for heavy-duty applications, such as lumber, cement and pipe. Several new product enhancements will also be offered to customers as part of the existing Class 4 and 5 product lines.

The following highlights the new product and enhancements to the Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks product line.

New Internal Combustion (IC) Pneumatic Tire Forklifts

FG40N - FG55N LP Gas (Capacity: 8,000-12,000 lb)

FD40N - FD55N Diesel (Capacity: 8,000-12,000 lb)

Heavy-handling features allow use in outdoor environments and rough surface conditions
Standard two speed forward and one speed reverse transmission and EPA-compliant envirO2 engines® ensure performance across a wide range of applications
Spacious operator compartment and state-of-the art design enhance operator comfort during long shifts
Engine Protection System (EPS) helps prevent overheating by automatically reducing RPMs if engine coolant temperatures get too hot
A variety of options are available, including ground speed limit, operator comfort enhancements, air intake pre-cleaner, wide load backrests and side shifters, panel cab and orange seat belt

IC Cushion Tire Forklift

FGC15N - FGC33N (Capacity: 3,000-6,500 lb)

Optimal travel and lift speeds offer efficient movement over longer travel distances
New digital display showcases vital information at the operator's fingertips
Drive-by-wire-throttle provides enhanced fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and responsive acceleration
High performance envirO2 engine features low CARB and EPA emissions
A variety of options are available, including a swing down LP tank bracket, full suspension seat, foot directional controls, orange seat belts, and application packages IC Pneumatic Tire Forklift (Capacity: 3,000-7,000 lb)

FG15N - FG35N / FD20N - FD35N

First-rate maneuverability and top-notch lift and lowering speeds make it easy for operators to move efficiently in different environments
Integrated Presence System (IPS) helps manage risk by temporarily disengaging the drive and hydraulic functions if operators leave the normal operating position.

New LCD/LED display panel with operator passcode protection and key indicators for fluid and fuel levels, travel direction and more
Customized options available include a swing-down LP tank, full-suspension seat, foot directional control, fuel saver mode and debris resistance protection.
