Miller (booth 6154), Miller Welding Automation (booth 5954) and ITW Welding North America (booth 5950) are set to introduce the latest welding, cutting and safety technologies for metalworking professionals across a wide range of markets.

APPLETON, Wis., - Miller Electric Mfg. Co. will introduce brand new welding equipment and safety products, as well as showcase recent technology advances at FABTECH 2011, held November 14-17, 2011 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Miller (booth 6154), Miller Welding Automation (booth 5954) and ITW Welding North America companies such as Bernard, Hobart Brothers, MAXAL, Tregaskiss, and Weldcraft (booth 5950) will showcase comprehensive welding systems and market-specific solutions designed for manufacturing, fabrication, shipbuilding, construction and commercial welding applications. Key points-of-interest in the Miller booth include:

o Live welding demonstrations highlighting new welding technologies and processes.
o Aluminum welding demonstrations featuring Miller's AlumaFeed(TM) Synergic Aluminum Welding System and premium MAXAL aluminum wire.
o Contests and giveaways from Miller's Arc Armor(TM) brand of welding personal rotective equipment (PPE).

New, industry-leading technologies featured in the booth will include:

o Miller's Axcess® E with Insight(TM), an advanced MIG welding system that includes fully integrated data monitoring capabilities within the power source.
o The new XMT® 450 MPa multiprocess welding power source: features the reliability and arc performance of the XMT 350 MPa but with more amperage, exceptional power efficiency and additional programs for Pulsed MIG welding with up to .052- and 1/16-inch wires. Rated at 450 amps at 100 percent duty cycle.
o Miller Welding Automation's PerformArc(TM) pre-engineered welding cells (booth 5954).
o Miller's premium Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) with Titanium 9400i industrial welding helmet for extreme welding protection in heavy applications.
o Point-of-use controls, such as Miller's wireless remote controls for TIG, MIG/Flux Cored and Stick welding applications, and the Weld Cable Control (WCC) system popular in shipbuilding and construction applications.
o Miller's exclusive PipeWorx(TM) multiprocess pipe welding system for advanced process flexibility and fast changeover times.
