Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) is pleased to announce Michael Danko has received his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Illinois. He joined ESI in 2003 and is a Staff Consultant in the company's Aurora, Illinois office.
Mr. Danko is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years experience in metallurgical and chemical engineering. Prior to joining ESI, he spent 18 years with Nalco Company as a Senior Research and Development Technician. His specialties include corrosion and metallurgical testing, and failure analysis of boiler equipment and water systems. He is also primarily responsible for the Aurora, IL metallurgical lab facility.
Recent assignments have included corrosion analysis, sprinkler system evaluations, examination of burst/leaking pipes, as well as testing compatibility of chemistry on various materials.
Mr. Danko is a member of various professional organizations and has been involved in many technical presentations and publications. He also assists with ESI's involvement with hosting a team of students attending the annual Chicago Regional ASM Materials Camp.
