Press release date: April 5, 2009

Peachtree City, GA, April 5, 2009: Due to the recent increase of new nonferrous accounts, Midwest Scrap Management has just purchased a new HRB-Centurion 150-13/9 Two Ram Baler from (Harris) Harris Waste Management Group, Inc.

Midwest Scrap Management is rapidly expanding in the Kansas City market, by taking on several new accounts. They are raising their nonferrous intake to 800,000 -1,000,000 lbs a month and with the hiring of Don McHugh, formerly of CFF, as our nonferrous manager, they have expectations of exceeding 3,000,000 lbs a month. Jim Summers, Midwest Scrap's Operations Manager says "We purchased Harris because of our knowledge and familiarity with the equipment and the great Harris parts and service". Kendrick Burgess, Midwest Scrap's President says "Harris' quality is matched by no other. Since the first HS6090 we purchased back in 2002, till today's HS125125. No one can beat Harris' equipment."

Midwest Scrap Management is currently in negotiations with several properties southwest of Kansas City to continue expanding its already highly increased account base. As part of their expansion there are plans to purchase a second Harris HS125125 Shredder in the future. "With the Harris HS125125 Shredder in Kansas City facility, purchased in 2005 and now newly purchased Harris HRB Centurion baler, Midwest Scrap continues to grow even in the troubled economy of today's market" states Jim Summers.

The HRB Centurion is the fastest 2-Ram Baler in its class, with its strong charge box and efficient hydraulic design that boosts productivity and minimizes maintenance costs.

Harris is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and support of scrap processing, recycling and waste handling equipment and offers the most experienced, highly skilled team of scrap processing professionals and system design engineers in North America.
