MicroPact Announces Entellidoc(TM), Streamlined Document Management
New entellidoc module adds robust document management capabilities to entellitrak.
HERNDON, Va. - Today MicroPact announced the release of entellidoc, its new document management system. It is currently available to MicroPact customers as an add-on module for entellitrak. With entellidoc, documents (unstructured data) can be managed right alongside entellitrak's data records (structured data) in a seamless integrated environment.
"One of the best things about entellidoc and its integration with entellitrak," says Michael Cerniglia, Chief Technology Officer at MicroPact, "is that if a document needs to flow through a workflow, one can be easily defined and attached using entellitrak's native workflow capabilities. This is a really great feature because with these two systems so tightly integrated, you can approach document management from either a document versioning or a workflow standpoint."
entellidoc provides a full suite of document management services including document storage, retrieval, collaboration, versioning, searching, and security. Documents are automatically indexed when they are added to the entellidoc content repository, making them immediately available for full text searching. Metadata for locating and managing documents is also created and stored at the time each document is saved. Both the document and associated metadata are securely stored through the application of entellitrak's role-based security model.
