Cincinnati, OH (July 4, 2007) - Michelman announced it has promoted Mr. Chris Coyne to the position of Business Manager, Paper & Flexible Packaging in Europe. Coyne previously held the position of Senior Account Manager, Europe, and previous to that was with Proman Coatings, Ltd., a company Michelman acquired in 2004.
"Chris has been a stalwart in the European Community for many years, has earned the respect of our customers, and is very deserving of this promotion. His integrity and extensive background in the packaging and paper industry have been instrumental in helping us grow our thriving European business," said Mr. Peter Roggeman, Managing Director of Europe and Asia.
Coyne will be responsible for maintaining and improving the development of innovative coating solutions, and meeting the growing demands of European customers in the paper and flexible packaging markets. He will report directly to Peter Roggeman.
In support of Mr. Coyne, Ms. Marie-Annette Mahy has been promoted to Account Manager, Paper Coatings and will report directly to Coyne. Mahy will be responsible for interfacing with customers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle-East.
