New CFO position will help Wildeck manage aggressive growth as a leading supplier of material handling equipment.
Waukesha, WI - May 2008 - Wildeck, Inc., the largest manufacturer of mezzanines, material lifts, and safety guarding products in North America, has promoted Michael J. Berns, CPA, to the position of Chief Financial Officer.
"We congratulate Mike on his many years of outstanding service and on achieving this top management position with the Company," stated Wildeck president, Keith G. Pignolet. "The company has experienced consistent growth and profitability under Mike's leadership and we look forward to continuing this strong performance in the years to come."
Berns began his association with Wildeck in December of 1993 when he joined Williams Steel & Supply as Accounting Manager. He was promoted a year later to Assistant Controller of both Williams Steel & Supply and Wildeck, Inc. In January of 1996 he was again promoted, becoming Wildeck's Controller, and has served in that capacity until being elevated to CFO.
