Metcam Fills Expanded Chief Financial Officer Position; Hires New Personnel to Staff Key Production-Based Roles


(Alpharetta, GA) - Metcam, a fabricator of sheet metal components and assemblies for OEMs, today announced it has filled positions in three key roles: Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Materials Manager and Quality Manager. Finance expert Steve Honnold will serve as Metcam's first full-time CFO. Seventeen-year manufacturing veteran Nick Danison will fill the position of Materials Manager. Quality-systems specialist Richard Uber will assume the role of Quality Manager. Bob Cheek, previously Metcam's IT/Quality Manager, will assume the new role of IT/ERP Systems Manager.

CFO Steve Honnold

Steve Honnold has specific expertise in financial planning and analysis, strategic design and implementation of enterprise solutions, and building partnerships with other business leaders. Prior to joining Metcam, Honnold served as Vice President of Finance for Ricoh Americas Corp.



Materials Manager Nick Danison

Nick Danison has extensive experience using Syteline, Metcam's newly implemented ERP system. He most recently worked as a ERP systems implementation consultant. He will head a Materials Team that focuses on inventory, purchasing and work order scheduling. Danison's experience in strategic efficiency improvements, cost-reduction and tactical problem resolution will be invaluable in this effort.



Quality Manager Richard Uber

Richard Uber is charged with continuously improving Metcam's quality assurance programs and will report directly to Metcam's president. Uber brings 15+ years' experience as a Quality Manager with Advanced Steel Technology to his new position, along with broad experience implementing and managing ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing programs. He is a certified Black Belt in quality systems management.
