Metcal, Nikon and Nordson ASYMTEK to Co-Host BGA Rework and Repair and X-Ray Inspection Seminar at ACI Technologies in Philadelphia
GARDEN GROVE, CAÂ – Metcal today announced an additional date for its 2013 Spring series of BGA rework and repair seminars, this time co-hosting with Nikon and Nordson ASYMTEK. The additional seminar is scheduled to take place Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 9 a.m. The seminar will address the latest techniques to rework and repair BGAs, QFNs and micro SMDs, as well as separate presentations discussing X-ray inspection by Nikon and BGA underfill by Nordson ASYMTEK.
The free technical seminar will feature rework demonstrations with real-life applications learned from global experiences. Additionally, attendees will get a demonstration of the Metcal Scorpion Rework System and Nikon XT-V160 X-Ray machine. The seminar will include a multimedia presentation, hands-on demonstrations and instruction, and a question and answer session to conclude each presentation.
Applications and topics include: repair, rework, low-volume assembly, prototyping, screen printing for single components, flux gel deposition for BGA/CSP rework and repair, temperature profiling, site preparation for rework and repair, BGA underfill and X-ray inspection.
