Metalformers to Meet in Livonia in January



TROY, MI - December 13, 2007 - The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) East Michigan District will host a meeting on Thursday, January 17, 2008, to provide metalformers with industry benchmarking information.

Speaker Bob Dobrowsky, CPA, of Plante and Moran, PLLC, will highlight several critical management, quality and productivity measures from PMA's benchmarking service. Training hours, lost workday injuries, employee turnover, average setup time, earnings before interest and taxes, and many other key measures will be reviewed. Attendees will be able to compare their companies' performance against the most profitable and best-in-class leaders.

The meeting will begin on January 17 with registration and networking at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $45 for PMA members and $55 for nonmembers.

This event will take place at the Marriott Livonia, located at 17100 N. Laurel Park Dr. in Livonia, MI. Those interested in attending should contact Judy Major at 248-583-9400 ext. 149 or judk1027@sbcglobal.net. The registration deadline is January 14.
