NEWBURYPORT, Mass. - Mersen (formerly Ferraz Shawmut) is pleased to announce the addition of five (5) new switches to the family of fused, non-fused, and NEMA 4X rated disconnect switches.

Among the new products are two new NEMA 4X enclosed switches, the EJFS303RSO (30A) and the EJFS603RSO (60A) that both feature a compact, rugged design and are 30% smaller than comparable units.

The new FBJX Fused switches are smaller than their predecessors, have several new features, and are built to last. This design is nearly 2" narrower, and offers box terminals up to 100A. Compact and economical, the FSSC Non-Fused switches are 100kA SCCR, have a much smaller footprint than their predecessors, and are listed to UL98 for "service entrance" applications. SX AC and SXDC Non-Fused switches are IEC rated and listed to UL98 for "service entrance" applications. Smaller footprints (40% for the SX AC) and a lower-profile mean a secure mounting in even the toughest applications.

"We are always researching and investing in new product offerings to deliver to our customers," said Russ Bernstein, product manager at Mersen."
