Merrill Corporation Announces Acquisition of ComputerReporters
ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 8: Merrill Corporation, a leading global provider of technology-enabled services for the legal, financial, real estate and other corporate markets, today announced WordWave International Pty Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has completed the acquisition of ComputerReporters, a leading provider of premium real-time and private reporting services to legal, corporate and government clients in Australia.

The acquisition of ComputerReporters enables Merrill Legal Solutions to expand its service capabilities to meet the needs of e-courts and trials conducted almost solely using electronic evidence -- a growing facet of the legal profession driven by better-technology, increased client demands and a changing regulatory environment.

WordWave, a global provider of litigation support, court reporting, captioning and transcription services for law firms, courts, governmental agencies and corporations, was acquired by Merrill in 2006. The addition of ComputerReporters makes Merrill Legal Solutions the largest provider of private reporting services in Australia.
