Proliance® Software Will Be Implemented to Support Strategic Transformation Plan Initiative
FOLSOM, Calif., June 5 - Meridian Systems®, a provider of enterprise project management software, announced today that the U.S. Postal Service has selected Proliance On Demand to manage new capital projects and facility renovations. The U.S. Postal Service delivers more than 46 percent of the world's mail volume.
Proliance allows organizations to reduce capital project costs, shorten cycle times, and to improve facility maintenance by optimizing the Plan-Build- Operate capital project lifecycle. Meridian Systems provides multiple deployment options for its software solutions, including self-hosted licenses, and an On Demand model on a subscription basis as part of a secure, hosted environment.
The U.S. Postal Service is pursuing its Strategic Transformation Plan as its blueprint for the future, which will drive continuous transformation for its products and services. The Proliance roll-out is currently underway at the new Detroit and Oklahoma City mail processing facilities; each project is in excess of 800,000 square feet.
