Meggitt Sensing Systems Hires Accounts Manager for India
Germantown, MD –– Meggitt, manufacturer of industry-leading accelerometers and vibration sensing products, announced today that Bivin Mathew has accepted the position of India Accounts Manager for Meggitt (Maryland), Inc. Working from Meggitt’s Bangalore facility, Mr. Mathew will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships and developing new business in India, a large and increasingly important market for the company’s Wilcoxon Research product lines.
In his role as India Accounts Manager, Mr. Mathew’s primary responsibility will be creating and maintaining customer relationships and providing product support to industry users. The addition of the accounts manager role is in direct response to a surging boost in demand for solutions for industrial condition monitoring and predictive maintenance requirements in India’s burgeoning industrial and energy sectors. Meggitt offers a wide range of Wilcoxon sensors essential to vibration monitoring programs that help save money, reduce downtime and improve safety in plants worldwide, and strives to offer customers the latest technologies and highest quality products. The continued investment in India as well as increased support and resources available will better serve longstanding customers and support rapidly growing industries.

Bivin Mathew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Anna University of Chennai. With two years industrial sales experience with Meggitt India and a technical background, he is ready to contribute to Meggitt's growth plan for India, the second most populous country in the world.
