Measurement Specialties' Chatsworth Facility Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Hampton, VAÂ – Measurement Specialties (NASDAQ: MEAS), has just announced that its manufacturing facility in Chatsworth, California is now ISO 9001:2008 certified. This certification focuses upon setting measureable objectives and measuring product and process performance against such objectives. “The exciting aspect of this certification,” stated David Revels, site manager, “is its emphasis upon customers, understanding their needs and requirements and performing to their satisfaction. Further, the focus of 9001 upon standards for quality management systems ensures that we meet each product’s statutory and regulatory requirements.”
MEAS Chatsworth designs and manufactures a wide range of linear and rotary measurement sensors that set the standard for easy and reliable position measurement. Founded originally in 1968 under the name of Celesco Transducer Products, MEAS Chatsworth has a history of engineering and manufacturing transducers of the highest quality, for exacting applications such as industrial process control, medical equipment, automotive testing and flood-control projects.
Measurement Specialties, Inc. designs and manufactures sensors and sensor-based systems.
