TAMPA, Florida - December 1, 2006 - McNichols Company announces today the recent addition of two new functionalities on its web site (www.mcnichols.com) that will directly impact customers and potential new employees. The site's Stock Lists now contain detailed product information and its Careers section has been completely redesigned.
McNichols customers have been asking for more detailed product information. On the Stock List pages, customers can now click on the item to see a wide range of item details, such as enhanced product photos, CAD drawings and application photos. Customers can also print item specification sheets directly from the site. Potential employees researching available positions with McNichols will now be able to apply on-line to any of the company's open positions at all 17 of its North American locations. This feature allows users to complete all applicable sections of an on-line resume as well as attach their own electronic resume. The new Careers section also includes redesigned pages for benefits, company history, corporate culture, and community involvement. This new area for potential employees is one way McNichols is continually positioning itself as an employer-of-choice.
