August 4, 2006, Tampa, FL - McNICHOLS Company announces today the recent appointment of Will Hoover as its new Director of Quality Assurance. Hoover will have overall responsibility for the company's ISO 9001:2000-based quality management system and the certification of McNICHOLS' 16 U.S. metals service centers. Hoover will report to Director of National Operations Jeff Croskey. Will has been named to the position at the company's corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL.
Formerly Business Center Manager for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Statesville, North Carolina, Will was responsible for all facets of production, people and technology for the past two years. Prior to that he spent six years as the Customer Engineer and ISO Systems Manager for the Statesville location.
Will is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. His wife Cheryl and their two sons, Mitch and Reese, will be relocating from Statesville, North Carolina, and joining him in the Tampa area.
