Mazak Appoints New Assistant Regional Sales Manager
Elgin, Illinois –Â Mazak Optonics Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of their Senior Applications Engineer, Garrett Peterson, to the Assistant Regional Sales Manager position. Peterson makes this transition after 12 years in the Mazak Applications department.
Following an extended period in the Air National Guard, Peterson earned a degree in Laser Electro Optics and joined Mazak in 1998 as a service team member. From there, he transferred to applications in 2000 and has become a key leader in the department. Peterson is excited to use his years of technical knowledge in the new sales role. “I’m really looking forward to being able to use my background in applications to further assist Mazak customers,” Peterson explained.
National Sales Manager, Al Bohlen, has high hopes for the switch. "We are very excited to have Garrett on our sales team. His extensive laser knowledge will be a valuable asset to our customers," stated Bohlen. "Our industry continues to have a healthy appetite for learning what's new in the fabrication industry and Garrett will bring this information to them in a comprehensive way."
