Marcel Hage to play key role in managing growth for parent company of Fife, Tidland and MAGPOWR in newly created position

Oklahoma City, OK. - Maxcess International announced today the promotion of Marcel G. Hage as President, North America and Exports. Mr. Hage has been asked to take on one of the key positions that will lead the organization through its goal of accelerated growth while maintaining customer focus for the Fife, MAGPOWR and Tidland brands. His newly expanded role will now include responsibility for the North American Sales and Marketing efforts for Maxcess, operations for Fife, MAGPOWR and Tidland in North America, Japan as well as export business.

In his prior position as Group Vice President for Maxcess, Mr. Hage was instrumental in establishing the companies of Maxcess as the unquestioned market and technology leaders in the supply and service of engineered products for the web handling industry. He has championed many successful initiatives including the launch of next generation products such as the D-MAX series web guide systems, CYGNUS tension control and ergonomic solutions for winding. Hage has pushed for significant expansions of the user-friendly web sites, emphasized involvement in industry educational offerings such as 'Tech Tips' online videos and e-seminars as well as industry programs and associations.

Mr. Hage joined Maxcess International in 2000 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America and Exports. He brings over 15 years of industrial manufacturing experience to the company including serving as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cleveland Motion Controls (CMC). He holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Cleveland State University.

"Under Marcel's guidance, our company has seen significant growth and has been able to work with customers to provide outstanding product solutions to meet the market needs", says Bruce Ryan, CEO of Maxcess International. "Specifically, in this past year, he has helped Tidland shorten delivery times, strengthen service offerings and develop more stringent quality assurance programs. Now, with this promotion, we look to Mr. Hage to do the same for the Fife and MAGPOWR operations as we focus our consolidated efforts on better serving our customers".

"Providing the right product and service offerings to customers has been the key to success for all of the Maxcess companies", says Marcel Hage. "We've been fortunate to have strong relationships with our customer base, who have communicated what they need to improve their process lines - ultimately we've been able to implement many best practices to provide them with what they've requested".

Maxcess International has grown to be a global leader in engineered products to the web handling industry through the acquisition and growth of the leading brands Fife (guiding and inspection), MAGPOWR (tension controls) and Tidland (slitting and winding). Maxcess provides worldwide sales, service and support of web handling technology through operations in North America, Europe, Japan, Singapore, Brazil and India, and hundreds of sales and service experts, distributors and agents worldwide.
