Springfield, Missouri - February 25, 2011 - Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Matthew Schweiger as the Director of Sales in the organization's Eastern Region. In his new role, he will manage, guide, motivate, and lead DMP Dealer Development Managers (DDMs) in the region to ensure that they meet or exceed both company objectives and customer expectations. The Eastern Region includes states east of the Mississippi.
"DMP Dealer Development Managers are the vital link between members of the DMP dealer network and the company's products, services, and resources," said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. "In his regional role, Matthew will ensure that every DDM in his region is able to take full advantage of the resources available, and uses them to provide the outstanding levels of support that DMP dealers have come to expect. We're confident that Matthew will be a valuable asset to the DDMs in the Eastern Region."
Prior to joining DMP, Matthew was the Regional Sales Director at an international intrusion alarm system manufacturer, where he led a US based sales force in 25 states and managed the sales and marketing activities for over 55 independent distribution locations. In addition to leading the sales force, his responsibilities included new business development, product promotion and merchandising, competitive analysis, advertising campaigns, and growth initiatives. Prior to that, he was Director of International Sales at a Fortune 100 diversified global technology manufacturer, where he developed an international sales division and created business relationships with many of the world's largest security dealers and distributors in more than 50 countries.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Maryland - College Park, with a minor in political science. He was born in Manhasset NY and resides in Jericho NY.
