Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. Launches Expanded, Customer-Focused Website

Basking Ridge, NJ - January 13, 2010 - Matheson Tri-Gas recently launched a new, customer-focused version of their website, now including expanded coverage and new information across all divisions and product areas. Content on the site has been reorganized, and new information has been added in areas of growing customer interest.

The website address is: www.MathesonTriGas.com.

The expanded content of the website is in response to increased customer traffic and demand for product and technical information in the areas of hydrocarbons, bulk gas and on-site production, industrial/welding gases and supplies, and propane.

Matheson Tri-Gas' customer reach and production capacity have seen dramatic growth - particularly in the area of industrial gas and welding products - in the last two years.

"Today Matheson Tri-Gas touches customers in diverse markets, including welders in the field, scientists in the lab, and engineers in electronic FABs. Reaching out to all these users, and making information easy to find, were key goals," says Mary Smickenbecker, Vice President Marketing of Matheson Tri-Gas.

A new Gas Applications and Industries section of the site is accessible from the home page. This new section summarizes the role of gases in industry segments such as Chemicals, Metals Fabrication, Energy, and many others.

New product sections include specialty areas such as wine making, laser gases, food & beverage, and propane; as well as new content for bulk and atmospheric gases, and packaged industrial gases and equipment.

Customers can now review specifications and purchase thousands of industrial equipment items through an online store, Tools for Less.

The content for laboratory specialty gases and electronics materials has also been expanded, and a safety products section - with a 465 page online catalog - has also been added.
