Brewster, NY - Matco-Norca offers Bolt & Gasket Sets with both non-asbestos and red rubber gaskets. These gaskets are available in both full face and ring style sets.
Matco-Norca's non-asbestos gasket (APG style CAN-750) is constructed of aramid and other synthetic fibers and bonded with nitrile rubber. Non-asbestos gaskets meet ASTM F152 and are suitable for use with water, air and a variety of industrial gases and fluids; they can also be used with steam depending on operating conditions. They carry a max temperature rating of 750º F and a max pressure limit of 1595 PSI.
Red rubber gaskets (APG style 0700) are constructed of SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and have a smooth red rubber finish. They meet ASTM D-1330 and are suitable for use with hot & cold water, air and neutral fluids. The gaskets have a tensile strength of 500 PSI. Red rubber gaskets carry a max temperature rating of -20º to 170º F and a 210º F intermittent temperature rating.
Bolts are made from Grade A zinc plated carbon steel and comply with ASTM A307. Nuts are also made of carbon steel and have a zinc-plated finish. They comply with ASTM A563. Bolts and nuts come packaged separately in sealed poly bags.
