Massapequa, January 23, 2007 - Robocom Systems International, a Global provider of Supply Chain Execution Software today announced that Mastronardi Produce, Ltd. (Mastronardi), an Industry leading grower, packer, and distributor of vegetables headquartered in Kingsville, Ontario Canada has selected RIMSŪ Produce, Robocom's warehouse management system developed for produce companies. Mastronardi will implement RIMS Produce to manage the rapid expansion of operations at its refrigerated warehouses in Romulus, MI and Kingsville, ON.
Mastronardi is an acknowledged leader in the greenhouse industry and incorporates cutting edge technology to produce consistent quality in its year round production of gourmet vegetables. Products are marketed under the Sunset brand and are sold to national and regional food retail chains and foodservice accounts.
Key to the selection of RIMS Produce were the sophisticated tools available to improve inventory accuracy and track lots from the time of receipt till delivery to customers. Mastronardi will also benefit from rapid integration to existing applications due to RIMS Produce's interface to their ERP application, supplied by Famous Software.
