Perrysburg, Ohio, February 3, 2009-Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd has been awarded the 2008 Shanghai General Motor (SGM) Best Tier II Supplier. Shanghai General Motors Co. Ltd. is a 50-50 joint venture with Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. Group, a leading passenger car manufacturer in China. "We are honored to have been able to help Shanghai GM this past year and are looking forward to continuing to help them to provide the best quality product, the best technical support and services," said Mr. Lu, Vice- President-Asia Business Development. According to Mr. Xingfang Lu, Master Chemical has helped impact Shanghai GM's profitability by cutting costs and improving the production effectives.
In June 2008, Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was also officially awarded the 2007 Annual Excellent Supplier Award from Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. "This is a very high-performance honor for Master Chemical in their first year of partnering with Cummins to supply Total Chemical Management to the entire facility," commented Mr. Lu. "We are honored to have received this award. We have been working very hard to make the Total Chemical Management operations at Donfeng Cummins Engine a total success," added Mr. Lu.
