Mass Megawatts Wind Power, Inc. New Wind Turbine Prototype to be Exhibited at Denver Home Show

WORCESTER, Mass. - Mass Megawatts Wind Power, Inc. (OTC: MMMW) is planning to exhibit a prototype of its new patented, 'Wind Electric Power Generator' with only seven moving components at the Denver Home Show being held at the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado on the weekend of March 15, 2013 through March 17, 2013.  This wind-based, power system produces reliable, low-cost, and clean energy that's well suited at remote and rural locations, including agricultural and commercial facilities.

Mass Megawatts recently sold its first unit of a new model for $47,000 to a local rancher in Colorado. Mass Megawatts has received $30,000 as a down payment.  Several additional sales of the Wind Electric Power Generator are currently anticipated.

The initial target market for the 'Wind Electric Power Generator' consists of agricultural facilities in the greater Colorado area. The company's goal is to provide widespread availability of more cost-effective, electric power and water pumping technology to farms and ranches in the central plains of the United States.

Mass Megawatts plans to further enhance the 'Wind Electric Power Generation' system by leveraging the company's patented, Wind Augmentation and Diffuser technology.  This will significantly improve the performance of the unit by increasing the wind velocity directed toward each wind turbine.  This accelerated wind speed, in turn, will result in a dramatic increase in power output, which is anticipated to be 3 or 4 times higher than a typical, non-augmented installation.

Additionally, the company is developing wind turbines with augmenters using horizontal or propeller type turbine blades. The cost per rated kilowatt is projected to be less than $1000 and anticipated to approach $600 in mass production. This compares very favorably with traditional wind power systems that realize a cost of $1500 to $2000 per rated kilowatt.

Recently, in other news, the company began offering discounted, electric power at competitive rates to commercial and residential electricity users in several states.

With its patented, Wind Electric Power Generation system, a new retail sales business, and very little debt, Mass Megawatts believes it is well positioned to ramp-up production in the shorter term while expanding its infrastructure to support mass-production goals in the longer term.
