MarShield is currently providing Bombardier with custom 1-lb, 5-lb, and 20-lb lead shot bags to test the door slide mechanism on its C series aircraft.
The lead shot bags are used to simulate the actual weight of aircraft doors. To meet regulatory specifications, MarShield is manufacturing these lead shot bags with FAA-approved fire retardant material.
