San Jose, CA Directed Light Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Hardyck to the newly created position of Director of Engineering. Mark will manage the engineering and technical staff for both divisions of DLI, and report to Neil Ball, DLI's President.

Mark has 12 years of senior-level mechanical design experience, most recently with Beckman Coulter, a leading manufacturer of biomedical test and diagnostic equipment. Mark's product development experience includes semiconductor test automation equipment, fluid-handling systems, laser processing systems and medical diagnostic equipment. Mark holds a BS degree in Mechanical engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
