In a bid to further extend the accessibility of its advanced Automated Optical Inspection products around the world, Marantz Business Electronics has confirmed that it will partner with Sovtest ATE to better serve customers in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
By teaming up with Russia's leading electronics production equipment supplier, Marantz products will now be available to customers in regions including Central, South, Siberia, Far East, North West, Ural and Volga. With a wealth of experience in the promotion of Marantz AOI systems in Russia, Sovtest has reported substantial interest in the product line which includes Marantz's popular PowerSpector 460 desktop and PowerSpector 520L inline and the new iSpector W, ML and HML series. Working closely with the Marantz team, highly trained Sovtest engineers will support Marantz customers to get productive quickly with their new AOI equipment. Sovtest also stocks an extensive collection of spare parts, in addition to delivering customer training and service support during warranty and post-warranty periods.

All Marantz AOI technologies supplied by Sovtest ATE feature pioneering 24-bit colour imaging technology. Overcoming the limitations of 8-bit greyscale imaging, 24-bit processing extends the amount of data available to operators per pixel to dramatically enhance defect detection while minimising false alarms for near 100% uptime. Among the Marantz products supplied by Sovtest is the popular PowerSpector 460 desktop AOI system, equipped to expertly handle SMT and THT components, reflow and wave solder joints, and solder paste. Sovtest will also deliver the PowerSpector 520L, a powerful inline AOI system which maximises uptime and operator control by fully integrating into an assembly line. Marantz iSpector technology will also be available from Sovtest; a uniquely upgradeable package from entry-level desktop through to fully inline AOI for extensive inspection flexibility.
