MapInfo Appoints Steven Feldman to UK Managing Director

London, March, 5: MapInfo Corporation (Nasdaq: MAPS), the leading global provider of location intelligence solutions, today announces the appointment of Steven Feldman to UK Managing Director.
The appointment marks a significant strategic move by MapInfo following the acquisition of Graphical Data Capture (GDC) Ltd., on February 20, 2007, where Feldman was managing director having joined GDC in 1998 as general manager.
In his new role with MapInfo, Mr Feldman will oversee the implementation of the company's global strategy for the UK, focused on the development and expansion of enterprise location intelligence within key vertical markets.

An evangelist of location intelligence and chair of this year's AGI Conference, Feldman is also a public sector specialist having been involved in the modernising agenda for e-Government, with particular emphasis on Enterprise/Corporate GIS for UK local authorities.

Prior to GDC, Steven worked as a divisional managing director of
Pilkington Glass. Steven holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge
University and is an avid Arsenal fan.
