An expanded selection of lead-free wave solder machines with models for low, mid and ultra-high volume production is now being showcased on the Manncorp website.
Visitors to manncorp.com can access a total of 10 different lead-free wave machines. Many carry small footprints - with lengths of as little as 2020mm (6.6 ft.), yet accommodate generous PCB widths of up to 400mm (15.75"). Even the larger versions, averaging 4100 mm (13.5 ft) overall length, are said to be 20 to 30% shorter than other higher-priced full-performance wave solder machines.
Most of the Manncorp systems are dual-wave types and include motorized adjustable titanium finger conveyors, titanium solder pots, automatic spray fluxing, extended hot air preheat and computer-control option. One system, the LF-2, includes quick-change lead-free and lead solder pots for users who need the flexibility of both processing modes. A nitrogen atmosphere is available on certain models as an option.
"Our wave machines meet the demands of American assemblers," claims CEO Henry Mann. "They are lead free, environmentally friendly and have lower energy requirements. At Internet price points ranging from $19,990 to $48,995 they will also transform shoppers to buyers."
